While winter break provided a break from academics for some students at the University of Colorado Boulder, many student athletes continued to compete in their respective sports. The university’s football team finished out their season with a loss against Brigham Young University at the Valero Alamo Bowl in Texas. Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams continued their seasons with several games, and CU Boulder’s ski team took to the slopes in early January to compete in slalom races.
