The University of Colorado Boulder’s Eklund Opera program presented the opera “Pirates of Penzance” from March 14-16. Elaborate costumes, a rotating set and careful comedic timing work together to tell a story of honor, love and pirates. The opera was directed by Leigh Holman along with music director Nicholas Carthy.

Two casts performed this opera. One cast performed on Friday and Sunday, and another cast performed on Saturday. The following photos are of the Friday/Sunday cast.
