On Thursday, the University of Colorado Boulder released a statement notifying the CU Boulder community that the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department is investigating two separate reports of conduct involving hazing. The report states that the conduct could have resulted in serious bodily injury.
No further information has been released, as both cases are under criminal investigation.
In a statement on CU Boulder Alerts, the university said, “CU Boulder does not condone acts of hazing and any dangerous activities that threaten a person’s safety or wellbeing. These and all reported incidents of hazing will be rigorously investigated by CUPD and referred to a student conduct process.”
