The CU Independent is the award-winning online news website for the University of Colorado Boulder with content produced by students for the university and surrounding Boulder community.
The CU Independent covers news, sports, arts and entertainment as well as opinion and commentary. Content is never censored or given final review by non-student faculty or staff prior to publication.
The CUI is a registered student organization at the University of Colorado Boulder and is eligible to apply for limited university funding through this program.
The CU Independent follows the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics and its own Ethics Policy and will promptly correct errors or add clarifications according to its Corrections Policy.
