Sleater-Kinney – Bury Our Friends

Originally formed in 1994, Sleater-Kinney broke up in 2006. But they’re back with a new single. Carrie Brownstein of “Portlandia” fame is the guitarist.

Spirit Club – Eye Dozer

Nathan Williams of Wavves is back with a new project, Spirit Club. Along with brother Joel Williams and friend Andrew Caddick, the trio have released two new tracks.

Tomorrows Tulips – Glued To You

Off their third studio album, “When,” Tomorrows Tulips return with “Glued To You.” If toned down garage noise is up your alley, be sure to check out the new album.

Ariel Pink – Put Your Number In My Phone

The first song to be released off the upcoming album “pom pom,” “Put Your Number In My Phone” marks the return of Ariel Pink, aka Ariel Rosenberg. The new album is slated to be released the week of Nov. 17.

The Mantles – Memory

Coming from both San Francisco and Oakland, The Mantles are back with a new single. “Memory” is the first release since 2013’s “Long Enough to Leave.”

Baauer – One Touch (ft. AlunaGeorge) (VIP RMX)

Baauer, best known as the guy behind the “Harlem Shake,” is back with a new collaboration with AlunaGeorge (recognizable for the Disclosure track “White Noise.”) It’s as danceable as you might expect.

Tennis – Never Work For Free

Hailing from Denver, Tennis has released their newest album “Ritual in Repeat.” The husband and wife duo (along with drummer James Barone) met in a philosophy course in college.

The Growlers – Love Test

From The Growlers’ fifth album, “Chinese Fountain,” comes the track “Love Test.” While not as fast-paced as some of the band’s early work that initially wooed fans, “Chinese Fountain” relays a lackadaisical yet grown-up approach that suggests a change for the group.

Diarrhea Planet – Bamboo Curtain

The six-piece rock group from Nashville have a new single titled “Bamboo Curtain.” Released on Nashville label Infinity Cat, the group have a new EP, “Aliens In The Outfield,” out next month. Listen to another track off the EP below, and “Bamboo Girls” on the playlist above.

David Bowie – Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)

While Bowie’s heyday might be gone, respect shall be given where it’s due. His latest song is “Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime).”
