On Sept. 18 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, a vigil was held at Canvas Stadium for the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Over 7,000 people attended the ceremony and listened to a number of speakers talk about the life of Kirk and the mission of the conservative political organization he founded, Turning Point USA. The vigil was held on the day that Kirk was set to debate students at CSU during his American Comeback tour.

Following the vigil, an open-mic debate forum was held in CSU’s Lory Student Center. The event, which attracted many attendees from the vigil, was put on by the Unfuck America Tour, the “official counter organization to Turning Point USA.” Video game and political online streamer Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, known by many as Destiny, hosted the event. Bonnell sat on stage and debated members of the audience who stepped up to the microphone.
