During a series of protests across Colorado over the weekend, including multiple in Boulder, Denver saw a march through its downtown streets on Saturday night. Protesters condemned the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, projecting messages onto buildings that denounced the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In past protests, marches in Denver followed routes that allowed law enforcement to block off traffic and protect demonstrators. Saturday was met with a novel tactic, however; protesters overtook the streets and marched through oncoming traffic.
