On Tuesday, Lauren Spencer Smith brought “The Art of Being a Mess Tour” to Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter was born in England and grew up in British Columbia, Canada. Her fame began in 2020 with her appearance on American Idol, then her career took off in 2022 when her single “Fingers Crossed” exploded on TikTok and became an international hit.
“The Art of Being a Mess Tour” captures the emotional rollercoaster of growing up, anger, heartbreak, love, confusion and growth. Lauren Spencer Smith frames her tour around the idea that life is messy and turns intimate emotions into singalong moments.
