On Thursday, the University of Colorado Boulder Program Council organized the return of Battle of the Bands. Hosted by The Fox Theatre, Battle of the Bands was a live concert that brought together emerging local artists for a night of friendly competition. The event included eight Boulder-based bands: The Speeks, Abernathy Shagnaster, Diva Cup, Red Revival, On the Dot, The Cattledogs, Words of Mouth and Sunkissd.
Upon entry, audience members were given tickets to vote for their favorite performances. More than just a contest, Battle of the Bands highlighted Boulder’s vibrant music scene. At the end of the night, Abernathy Shagnaster was declared the winner of the Battle of the Bands.
